Funny things our kids say

So my 4 year old says to my husband “dad how do you say son in Spanish”, my husband says “sole”, my son says “no, not like the sun in the sky, son like me”. Now how would he know that? May be Dora?

On our last trip to NJ Safari my kids were exposed to some rated X behavior from the lions. While we were passing them;
My 4 year old said “Dad what are they doing, why is he sitting on her”
My husband “they are playing”
My son “No, they’re making babies”
I wonder what he watches on TV when I’m not home

This morning my son came to your bed at 6:30am
So I get up and go to the bathroom, then I come out take my close and go back in, come out again get something and go back in to brush my hair
My son "and back with in the bathroom again..."

After telling my 6 year old child that there is a baby in moms belly he was not able to understand how it got there and asked me if i swalled it? Yesturday he says to me mom when is the baby coming out? I said November. So he says to me how will it come out through your mouth you will throw him up? ) I lost my ability to speak

While our kids visited their grandparents this summer we took a 4 day trip to Amsterdam. When the kids got back we presented them with souvenirs from Amsterdam. My older son was so excited that he called his grandmother and said “we got gifts from Hamsterdam”.

Not sure where my 2yo go this from but every time he’s upset he says “You baby, you fired”

My son for the summer is attending a jewish day camp on staten island and is having a great time. he used always ask me what is jewish? and what is kosher? we try very hard to teach him all we know so that he will have a good understanding of who he is. the other day while playing at his grandparents house i was listening on a conversation that he was having with his cousin who is also six. She asked him what kind of pizza he likes cheese or pepperoni and he turns around and says "I am a hebrew person, I can not have pepperoni" it seemed so cute and a little funny to me cause just a month ago he would ask me what is kosher
