Fun indoor activities

My kids love TV, when you compete with Sponge Bob for attention it is not an easy task. However I was able to come up with several activities that work for us:
1. High and seek – always works
2. Shutting of the TV, turning on my iPod, and having a crazy dance party. The kids love it we do everything form “limbo” to “chicken dance” and the kids get exposed to tunes from the 40s, 60s, 80s, and 90s.
3. Art class with an art show at the end. Where we post the art work on the door and call friends, family and neighbors to come take a look.
4. Baking Cookies works- but then my husband and I end up eating them all (so great for kids, not so much for us.
