In the nutrition section of the American Baby magazine by Amy Gorin
I read today something that made a lot of sense to me. A lot of kids suffer from peanut allergies and most often we as parents try to avoid any food that may contain peanuts. Well according to a study at Duke University and Arkansas Children's hospital have found that if they fed children with this allergy a daily dose of peanuts. They started with one - thousandth of a nut per day and gradually increased to 15 nuts daily which most children started to tolerate. They did say they need to do further study but it does show hope that this for those who are allergic. Let me know if anyone has tried it :)
